Amongst the specific proposals for vegetarians and vegans we can offer a complete menu, from starters, to first courses and mains. Some examples? “carpaccio” of marinated artichoke with an aged mustard dressing, or layers of red beet and smoked ricotta cheese with a mouth-watering poppy seed compôte or even champignon mushrooms stuffed with a legume mousse. Our offerings include pizzas made with easily digestible wholemeal flour.
For the rolls you can choose from the vegetarian club sandwich with grilled vegetables and potato dippers.
At Havana you can eat zero-kilometre certificated organic fish: breams and bass that have been caught in Valgrande, just a few metres from the premises. Fish from the Valgrande are raised without artificial feed and so are very similar in texture to sea caught fish. Our organic fish are born and grow in freedom, in a large lagoon where they find safe and healthy food such as clams, seaweed, and small shellfish.
Bass is excellent oven-cooked and served with potatoes or grilled; bream has an exquisite delicate flavour, ideally baked or grilled. We recommend grilled bass or bream accompanied with seasonal vegetables and a yogurt salsa.
Green leaf salads are ideal for a healthy and balanced diet, for this reason they are always present on the Havana menu, healthy salads that are rich in vitamins and complemented with tasty ingredients such as feta cheese and grana cheese (Summer Salad) or grilled chicken (Caesar Salad).
